Handthrown with a white stoneware clay and glazed in an overlapping of glossy turquiose glaze and white glazes, which has a unique pink blushing from a reaction in the kiln when placed next to a certain other glaze.
The name Maldives comes from the tropical fish and the amazing colours they have.

Dishwasher safe & microwave safe, but please handle with care. Every item is individually made by hand in small batches using natural materials so there may be subtle variation in size, shape and glaze finish from piece to piece.
